Dr. Jackson
has a Bachelors of Arts (Honours), Master of Arts, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manitoba. He has over 30 years of experience counselling individuals and couples in Saskatoon.
Although his primary specialty is counselling and psychotherapy, Dr. Jackson has also taught courses and seminars at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Jackson’s teaching has kept him current on the most recent developments in his field. He has also supervised the research and clinical training of graduate students and has testified in court as an expert witness in a variety of cases.
As a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine, Dr. Jackson has provided seminars and tutorials for Family Medicine Residents and Psychiatric Residents. He has co-facilitated seminars for first- and third-year medical students (to improve their communication skills with patients). Although he loves teaching, the primary focus of his career has been counselling individuals and couples.
In his leisure time, Dr. Jackson loves to ski, cycle, hike, camp, garden, and scuba dive. He enjoys spending time with his spouse, son, friends, and members of his extended family.
Dr. Jackson
is an experienced, Saskatoon-based Registered Doctoral Psychologist. He has helped clients lead happier, more fulfilling lives.
